Effect of Treatment on Incidence of White Mold Infection of Snap Beans

In trial of 2003 in Wisconsin Contans^®WG was tested by W. R. Stevenson in two bean varities, of which one was a tolerant and the other a suscepteble varity. Contans^®WG  was applied at a rate of 4lb/A. The disease incidence with Contans^®WG in the tolerant varity was 6.5% compared to 17.9% in the control plot. The portion of diseased plants in the susceptible varity in the Contans^®WG modality was 10.8% compared to 38.4%. The evaluation of the disease severity showed a similar effect.
